San Anselmo is a bustling Marin County community that sits just 1.5 miles from the county seat of San Rafael, and only around 20 miles or so north of San Francisco. As a city that sits almost right in the middle of Ross Valley, the surrounding scenery is pretty impressive from just about every point of San Anselmo, which certainly makes homes for sale in the area that much more appealing for anyone looking for a terrific new place to live. At last count, San Anselmo had a population of right around 12,600, but don't be surprised to see that number keep growing thanks to the city's convenient Marin County location, and of course the tight-knit community feel that helps make this one of the more friendly places to call home in the entire Bay Area.
